Section 8/Mainstream: The Falmouth Housing Authority is pleased to announce the opening of the housing choice voucher program's Section 8 waiting list - which includes the Mainstream voucher program. For this project, applicants can be age 18 and older. Note: The Falmouth Housing Authority is no longer a participant of the Massachusetts Centralized Waiting List. This means that you must apply to FHA's list directly. This list is open and has not yet been scheduled to close.
DIAL - Disabled Individual Adult Living: The Falmouth Housing Authority is pleased to remind you that the special program available on Cape Cod, DIAL, has an open waiting list and s accepting applications. For this program, applicants must be 18 years of age or older and disabled. The vouchers are for studio and one-bedroom units only. This list is open and has not yet been scheduled to close.
SRO - Mod Rehab Single Room Occupancy: The Falmouth Housing Authority is pleased to remind you that the SRO program's waiting list is open and is accepting applications. This program provides permanent supportive housing for seven (7) homeless individuals. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and homeless. This list is open and has not yet been scheduled to close.

Applicants must fall within the established current income guidelines (see below) for their household size. Income limits change annually and are set by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). Applicants will be placed on the waiting list based on the date and time of application and will be selected based on date, time, and any applicable preferences.
Existing applicants who have applied for any waiting list administered by FHA will remain on the waiting list.
FHA will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, creed, nationality or ethnic origin, age, family or marital status, sexual orientation, handicap or disability, nor deny any family or individual the opportunity to apply for, or receive assistance under the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

* The FY 2014 Consolidated Appropriations Act changed the definition of extremely low-income to be the greater of 30/50ths (60 percent) of the Section 8 very low-income limit or the poverty guideline as established by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), provided that this amount is not greater than the Section 8 50% very low-income limit. Consequently, the extremely low income limits may equal the very low (50%) income limits.
